When I listen to this album, there are so many emotions that are felt, but the one thing that I can say for sure is that this is one of my favorite albums of all time, and is definitely, in my opinion, the best to come out this year.īreathtaking, magnificent, and compelling. Watching Jesse Lacey perform their newest additions to their set list on stage, it almost seems like he is fighting the demons within himself for everyone to see. Their songs’ lyrics speak of religion, love, and death, such as “Jesus Christ” and “Sowing Season (Yeah)”, and is something that all of us can relate to in one way or another. All four members have grown in many aspects, and are no longer the young, high school quartet that many of us fell in love with. In my opinion, TDAGARIM has the energy of their first album, yet the lyrics reflect the maturity of their 2003 album, Deja Entendu. Brand New’s third album, after a 3 year hiatus, has left their fans awed and floored with the album’s depth and intensity. The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me has shown that the third time really is the charm.
